At each stage, new landscapes are revealed, from the green forests of Vercors and the orchards of Buëch or the vineyards of Drôme to the gates of the Maritime Alps, via the Alps of Haute Provence. A whole land is offered to you, rich in a thousand curiosities and filled with intense sensations!
Approved by the (Fédération Française de Cyclisme (French Cycling Federation - FFC), this great and beautiful mountain-biking trail, which will test both you and your bike, can usually be travelled in 5-7 days. But its sporty character should not put off those who prefer gentler cycling, for there are plenty of places to stay along the route, making it possible to divide it up into more, shorter stages, and thus take the time to explore the land, its inhabitants, landscapes and heritage at a more comfortable pace.
On the Chemins du Soleil, everyone has their own expectations and pleasures. But whatever your choice, vigilance and respect are certainly shared values; values which can be shared in a north-south direction. Or east-west ... it's all a question of way-marking!
