The Alsace Wine Trail
The Wine Trail snakes from north to south for over 170 kilometres, across the wine-growing hills at the foot of the Eastern slopes of the Vosges. Stevenson's Trail
This is more than just an official hiking trail following in the footsteps of the Scottish writer Robert Louis Stevenson and his donkey; it is a route imbued with anecdotes, history and heritage. Between Auvergne and Languedoc-Roussillon, this trail (marked GR70) can be explored alone or in a group, on foot, on horseback, by mountain bike or indeed accompanied by a donkey.
